Rock Swap & Open House

Plan a visit to the D.W. Correll Museum for the Rock Swap & Open House and land yourself free admission to this Catoosa museum. Multitask during this special event and browse both the museum collections and goods from the on-site vendors. Guests can tour through the transportation museum, housing antique automobiles, before focusing in on the rocks, minerals, fossils and jewelry for sale. Plus, there will be a live auction at 11am with proceeds going towards the Tulsa Rock & Mineral Society’s scholarship fund. Collectors and enthusiasts can also partake in rock cutting, polishing, jewelry making and flint knapping demonstrations. Kids can also participate in educational activities while their chaperones get their personal rocks and gemstones identified by the experts. Head to the D.W. Correll Museum for an afternoon filled with educational fun and leave with a rock or mineral to commemorate this special day.
