Performances will take place across three weekends: Sept 18-20 Sept 25-27 Oct 2-Oct 4 Chuckwagon dinner: 5-7pm Showtime: 7:30pmCelebrate the Route 66 Centennial with an unforgettable evening of food and theater in Clinton. Guests will enjoy an old-fashioned chuckwagon dinner at sunset, followed by "Rodgers & Hammerstein's: Oklahoma!" performed live and outdoors at the historic McLain Rogers Park amphitheater. This once-in-a-generation outdoor musical production is presented in partnership by Southwest Playhouse, the Clinton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clinton. This special production marks one of the signature events of Oklahoma's Route 66 Centennial celebration. There has never been a more perfect way to see this classic American musical: outdoors, on the Mother Road, in the state that inspired it. Guests may park at The Edge Church (1005 S 10th St) and hop on a golf cart to shuttle to McLain Rogers Park. Blankets and stadium seats are welcome throughout the amphitheater. Single-person lawn chairs are permitted in the back two-thirds of the venue. Performances may be delayed or canceled due to weather. Canceled tickets are exchangeable for another performance, subject to availability. "Oklahoma!" is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization.
