Hummingbird Award in Literary Arts: Honoring Yuyi Morales

About this event

Children's author and illustrator Yuyi Morales will receive the Hummingbird Award in Literary Arts and speak about her life and works, and sign books at the Martin Regional Library in Tulsa. Presented by the Hispanic Resource Center and the Tulsa Library Trust, the biennial award honors nationally prominent authors, poets or artists of Latinx descent whose work has significantly elevated and affirmed the voice of the Latinx community. Morales' books will be available for purchase at the event. This is an all-ages event.
