Christmas at the Fort

Travel back in time to Christmas at Fort Towson in the 1860s for a glimpse of solider life during the holidays at that point in history. The "Christmas at the Fort" living history program will guide visitors through the experience of a solider anxiously awaiting packages from home. Bring the kids to meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus warming up to a cozy fire and giving out cookies and toys. Guests may also take a tractor tour of the Fort Towson Historic Site grounds and play games that were popular in the 19th-century.
