Head to Tahlequah this November for SkasdiCon at the Chota Conference Center. "Skasdi" is a Cherokee word that conveys pride, awesomeness and feistiness. This spunky word can be used to describe many popular comic book, video game and movie characters. At SkasdiCon, guests can meet Indigenous artists and creators of fan art of popular TV shows and movies, attend graphic novel and Native Pop Culture panel discussions, and participate in a family-friendly cosplay competition. Don't miss this one-day event that celebrates the vibrant intersection of Native American and pop culture in Tahlequah this fall.
