Get into the holiday spirit with dinner and some live music this December when Legacy on Main Street in downtown Eufuala presents Legacy Live: "A Blue Christmas" an Elvis Presley Tribute. Oklahoma entertainer Brent Giddens takes to the stage for a celebration of Elvis Presley’s music and enduring appeal. For Giddens, the road to performing as Elvis began with an unexpected turn at a karaoke microphone. In 2010, while working as an Oklahoma basketball coach, he sang “An American Trilogy” at a Tulsa hotel. That performance caught the attention of an Elvis fan who encouraged him to pursue tribute work, opening a new chapter beyond the basketball court. Guests can make dinner part of their holiday outing or choose a show-only ticket. Dinner guests will have a choice of beef medallions with a mushroom white wine cream sauce, or shrimp Vol-au-vent, featuring puff pastry filled with shrimp, mushrooms, and artichokes in a Parmesan cream sauce. Both selections will be served with Caesar salad, garlic bread, garlic rosemary smashed potatoes, and bacon-wrapped asparagus. Dessert will be cherry butterscotch bread pudding topped with cinnamon whipped cream.
